The Rotary Club of Amherst

Thank You for Visiting our Website
The Amherst Rotary Club is one of over 45,000 Rotary clubs in over 200 countries worldwide belonging to Rotary International. The Amherst Rotary Club is made up of a diverse membership from the business, professional and civic communities of the Amherst Area. As members of the Amherst Rotary Club, we all strive to foster the ideal of “Service Above Self” while at the same time enjoying the fellowship and camaraderie of fellow members through our weekly luncheons and various service projects.
Our service projects locally have included, the dictionary project and our annual Christmas Party for the children associated with Family Outreach of Amherst. Additionally, our charitable giving has provided scholarships to 9 local high school students each year and financial gifts given to Big Brothers Big Sisters, the Amherst Survival Center, Not Bread Alone, Reader to Reader, the Town of Amherst, and the list goes on and on….. At the international level, the Amherst Club partners with Rotary International, which has helped lead efforts to eradicate polio, expand access to clean water in developing countries, and support global programs in health, education, hunger relief, and humanitarian aid.
The Amherst Rotary Club raises money for its various giving programs and service projects from fundraisers such as the Amherst Town Fair and COVAC Bicycle Ride.
We meet the first and third Thursday of each month at noon at the Inn on Boltwood, on the Common in Amherst, for luncheons. Please join us.
