Wildwood School in Amherst dedicates cafeteria, courtyard renovations

AMHERST — The dedication of the renovation of the Wildwood Elementary School’s cafeterias and courtyard will be held Wednesday from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the school on Strong Street.

The Rotary Club of Amherst and other donors contributed to the project, which includes three large murals by local artist Sophie Theroux, new storage areas, room dividers, lighting and dining tables and landscaping.

Other contributors to the project are the Wildwood Parent Guardian Organization, Cowls Building Supply, Amherst Nurseries, Amherst Farmers Supply, Sugarloaf Nurseries, Hadley Garden Center, Wagner Wood, John S. Lane & Son, Whole Foods, Bruegger’s Bagels and Whirlwind Fine Garden Design, who transformed the courtyard space into an outside dining garden for students.
