An annual tradition returns to the Town Common on August 23 when the Amherst Rotary Town Fair opens for its three-day run.
Carnival rides such as a Ferris wheel and merry-go-round, a climbing wall, and a variety of other activities will be ready for children and adults.
The Rotary Club of Amherst uses money from the fair to provide scholarships to local students and assist nonprofits through donations.
